# Warp Terminal

To connect Flyweel MCP to **Warp Terminal**, open **Settings, then AI, then MCP Servers, then Add**, and point it at `https://api.flyweel.co/functions/v1/mcp-server/mcp` with an `X-API-Key` header. Warp’s Agent Mode then has access to Flyweel’s 8 tools in any terminal session.

## Step 1: Get your API token[Link to this section](#step-1-get-your-api-token)

 1. Go to [app.flyweel.co](https://app.flyweel.co)
 1. Click **Settings**, then **API & MCP**
 1. Under **Advanced: use an API key instead**, click **Generate API key** (or **Create Token** to name your own, e.g. “Warp”)
 1. Copy the `fwl_…` token — it won’t be shown again

## Step 2: Open Warp MCP settings[Link to this section](#step-2-open-warp-mcp-settings)

 1. Open Warp
 1. Click **Settings** (`cmd+,`)
 1. Go to **AI, then MCP Servers**
 1. Click **Add**

## Step 3: Configure Flyweel[Link to this section](#step-3-configure-flyweel)

| **Name** | Flyweel |
| **Transport** | HTTP |
| **URL** | `https://api.flyweel.co/functions/v1/mcp-server/mcp` |
| **Header name** | `X-API-Key` |
| **Header value** | `fwl_YOUR_TOKEN_HERE` |

Click **Save**.

Warp’s MCP support is evolving. If the HTTP transport option is missing, update Warp to the latest version.

In Warp, enter Agent Mode and ask:

### MCP Servers section is missing[Link to this section](#mcp-servers-section-is-missing)

Warp version is too old.

**Fix:** Update Warp to the latest version (Help, then Check for Updates).

### ”Authentication error”[Link to this section](#authentication-error)

Token is invalid or revoked.

**Fix:** Regenerate at [app.flyweel.co](https://app.flyweel.co), then Settings → API & MCP.
