Your media buyer probably runs your campaigns out of your login. From today, they don’t have to. Open Settings → Members, invite teammates on your company email domain, give each one a role, and every connected ad account, campaign, report and invoice is shared across the team.
Why was one login per business a problem?Link to this section
Flyweel used to be one login per business. Whoever connected Google Ads, Meta or TikTok was the only person who could see the data that came back.
So the person who actually runs the campaigns did one of two things. They signed in as the owner, which means a shared password and access to everything the owner can touch, including cards and billing. Or they worked outside Flyweel, and the numbers stopped matching.
Either way the business ended up with a single point of failure. One person’s account held every connection. When they were on leave, nothing could be reconnected. When they left, the password left with them or got passed around. A law firm with three people on paid search should not have to run its ad spend through one person’s login.
And there was no in-between. Anyone you let in was, in effect, an admin, cards and billing included.
What ships today for Flyweel teams?Link to this section
A new page under Settings → Members, visible to Owners, Admins and Managers.
You invite a teammate by email. The address has to be on your own company domain, and you need a custom-domain email to send the invite at all. They get an email, click Accept invitation, and land in your organization with their own account. Invites expire after 7 days.
You pick their role when you send the invite, and you can change it later from their row. There are four, and the bundles are fixed:
| Role | Can |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including cards, billing and organization management. One per organization, and it can’t be transferred. |
| Admin | Everything except being Owner: cards, campaigns, CRM, invoices, connections, reports, billing, and inviting members. |
| Manager | Campaigns, CRM, connections, reports, invoices (view), billing (view), and inviting members. No cards. |
| Marketer | Campaigns, connections, and reports (view). No cards, invoices, billing or member management. |
Owner never appears in the invite dialog. Nobody can grant a role above their own, so an Admin can invite another Admin but never an Owner.
Once someone accepts, the organization’s connections, campaigns, metrics, reports and invoices are visible to them, filtered by what their role allows. Cards stay an Owner and Admin surface. Removing a member takes their access away immediately and deactivates any cards issued to them, and it can’t be undone; you’d re-invite them.
Whose credentials does a sync run on?Link to this section
The credentials of whoever connected that ad account. Not the person who clicked sync.
A Marketer can open Flyweel, trigger a refresh, and pull down yesterday’s Meta spend for an account they never connected and cannot log into. The stored token belongs to the connection owner. The member never sees it, holds it, or needs it.
That is the difference between sharing a login and sharing data. Before, giving someone the numbers meant giving them the keys. Now the numbers move and the keys stay put.
Any member can also connect an ad account of their own, and it joins the organization’s shared set. If the person who connected an account is later removed, those accounts stop syncing and everyone who can manage connections gets a prompt to reconnect. Any of them can reconnect with their own login, and syncing resumes under their credentials. Data already synced is unaffected.
What does it cost to add your team?Link to this section
Nothing. Subscriptions stay per-user, there are no seat fees, and no plan price changed.
Seat pricing charges you for visibility. It puts a number on letting your CFO see what growth costs, or letting the media buyer see what the campaigns returned, and then quietly makes the answer “one login is fine”. That is how businesses end up with a shared password. We would rather your whole team could see the numbers.
What can’t Flyweel teams do yet?Link to this section
Being clear about the edges is cheaper than a support ticket:
- Same-domain invites only. Both addresses have to be on the same company domain. Contractors and external media buyers on their own domain aren’t supported yet.
- One owner, fixed. Ownership can’t be transferred or shared, and Owner can’t be assigned to anyone.
- Four roles, no custom permissions. The bundles above are the whole set. There’s nothing to configure.
- No team billing. Payment and subscription stay with the individual user. Organization-level billing is a separate piece of work.
- The invite email is the only team-wide message. There are no notifications when someone joins, changes role or is removed. Sync and lifecycle emails still go to one recipient.
- Cards are Owner and Admin only. Issuing a card to a Manager or Marketer is post-launch work.
The Flyweel app in ChatGPT is live tooLink to this section
Last week we shipped Flyweel as an app in the ChatGPT directory, so you can ask ChatGPT what your Google, Meta and TikTok spend actually returned, read-only, in plain language. Now that your team shares one organization, they can each add it under their own account and get metrics filtered by their own role.
Details in the ChatGPT app announcement and the ChatGPT app overview.
