The Flyweel app for ChatGPT connects your Flyweel account to ChatGPT so you can ask about ad spend and revenue in plain language (“what did we spend on Google last month?”, “which campaigns have the best ROAS?”) and get answers pulled live from your own Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and CRM data. It is live in the ChatGPT app directory, installs in one click, and authorises with OAuth. Access is read-only: ChatGPT can read your numbers, but it cannot touch your campaigns.
What it doesLink to this section
Once connected, ChatGPT can:
- Report on ad performance: spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, CTR, CPC, CPM, cost per conversion, broken down by channel, account, campaign, objective, or week.
- Report on revenue: deals created, won, lost, pipeline value, average deal size, win rate, and sales velocity from your connected CRM.
- Join the two: compare what a channel cost against the revenue it produced, in one question, instead of exporting two reports and reconciling them by hand.
- Manage the plumbing: check which ad platforms are connected, hand you a link to connect a new one, choose which ad accounts sync, kick off a data refresh, and report sync progress.
What it cannot doLink to this section
The Flyweel app is read-only against your ad platforms. It cannot create, pause, or edit campaigns; it cannot change budgets or bids; it cannot upload creative. Anything that spends money stays in your hands.
It also only sees the ad accounts you have selected inside Flyweel. Accounts you have not selected are invisible to it.
RequirementsLink to this section
- A paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Edu. Free-tier ChatGPT does not support apps.
- A Flyweel account at app.flyweel.co.
- At least one ad platform connected in Flyweel, or connect one from inside ChatGPT during setup.
How the connection worksLink to this section
You add the app from the ChatGPT directory, ChatGPT sends you to Flyweel to sign in, and you approve a consent screen that lists exactly what the app can read. There is no API key to copy, paste, or rotate. The authorisation is standard OAuth and you can revoke it from ChatGPT at any time.
Under the hood the app talks to the Flyweel MCP server, the same open Model Context Protocol endpoint that powers Flyweel in Claude, Cursor, and every other MCP client. If you would rather add that endpoint by hand, see ChatGPT (manual connector).

Frequently asked questions
What is the Flyweel app for ChatGPT?
It is an official Flyweel app listed in the ChatGPT app directory. Once added, ChatGPT can read your Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and CRM data from Flyweel and answer questions about spend, performance, and revenue in plain language.
Is the Flyweel ChatGPT app free?
The app itself costs nothing to add. It reads data from your Flyweel account, so you need a Flyweel account with at least one ad platform connected. See https://www.flyweel.co/pricing for Flyweel plan costs. ChatGPT apps also require a paid ChatGPT plan (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Edu).
Can ChatGPT change my ad campaigns through Flyweel?
No. The connection is read-only. ChatGPT can read metrics and connection status, and it can start a data sync, but it cannot edit campaigns, budgets, creatives, or bids on any ad platform.
What data does the Flyweel ChatGPT app access?
Ad performance data (spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, CTR, CPC, CPM, ROAS inputs) and CRM data (deals, revenue, pipeline value, win rate) for the ad accounts you have selected inside Flyweel. It never sees your ad platform passwords.
Do I need Developer mode in ChatGPT?
No. The Flyweel app is listed in the ChatGPT app directory, so it installs in one click. Developer mode is only needed if you want to add the raw Flyweel MCP server URL as a custom connector.
